The American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter at California State University, Long Beach (ASCE CSULB) requests your support for our inaugural ASCE CSULB Vahe Kludjian (VK) Memorial Scholarship Fund.

With the unfortunate passing of CSULB faculty member and former Surveying Team Advisor Vahe Kludjian in 2020, CSULB ASCE would like to introduce a scholarship fund in his honor.

Vahe Kludjian was a Lecturer in the Civil Engineering and Construction Department at California State University, Long Beach, since 2005. During his time at CSULB, he was known for his love for teaching and dedication to student development and ASCE. This endeavor aims to carry his legacy forward and recognize Vahe's passion for supporting the next generation of engineers and maintaining faculty, student, alumni, and industry relationships.

The revenue from the VK Memorial Scholarship Fund will support our ASCE CSULB Pacific Southwest Symposium (PSWS) technical team projects and K-12 initiatives like Dream Big!

This program is an excellent opportunity for Alumni to reconnect with the ASCE CSULB Student Chapter, further network with the civil engineering industry, and support university students to keep Vahe's memory alive.

For companies and public agencies, this is a marketing opportunity that will help support students' success beyond the CSULB Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Management (CECEM) Department and recruit aspiring engineers.

If you would like to make a contribution, please fill out the Eventbrite form.

The scholarship fund will also include events that unite the CSULB CECEM community, namely a golf tournament, networking dinners, and community service functions. Events that Vahe would have joyfully enjoyed and supported alongside his friends, colleagues, and students.
